OUR RECYCLING drop off site that is located on N. Franklin Street in the Village of Hopkins will be Closed as of April 1, 2013. Residents now have curbside pickup available for each residence that sign up and is paying the annual recycling fee on their winter tax bill. All of the following materials may be placed into the provided receptacle, NO sorting needed: plastic bottles and jugs; brown and clear glass bottles; aluminum, steel or tin cans; paper items including newspapers, cardboard, junk mail, magazines and phone books. ITEMS MUST BE EMPTY AND CLEAN. PLEASE…NO GARBAGE OR TRASH.
Used motor oil can be taken to Stoddard Oil on 12th Street in Wayland.
